- Surface preparation: the surface must be dry, clean and free of dust, oil and loose parts.
- Priming: apply a coat of alkali-resistant water-based sealer before the putty to improve adhesion and reduce absorption.
- Application: stir the putty well, then spread with a knife or trowel in thin successive coats (2 – 3 coats) depending on the surface.
- Sanding: sand each coat once fully dry, and remove the dust thoroughly before the next coat or before painting.
- Close the container tightly after use to keep the remainder from drying out.
- Ventilation: keep the area well and continuously ventilated while painting and until fully dry.
- Personal protection: wear gloves, safety glasses and a dust mask while sanding and applying.
- First aid: in case of eye contact rinse immediately with plenty of running water for 15 minutes; on skin contact wash thoroughly with soap and water.
- Storage: keep in the original, tightly closed container in a dry, cool, shaded place away from direct sunlight, heat and frost.
